2.
I am not happy with my quality of
print, what can I do?
First
thing would be to run a cleaning cycle
on the cartridge to make sure the
nozzles are not dirty. If a cleaning cycle
doesn't solve the problem, contact
O-ink by phone, 1-888-989-OINK, and
a customer service oinkster will help
you. Top
3.
How long should my cartridge last?
This
question depends on what you print.
Most OEM manufactures will give a
yield for their cartridge. This yield
is like gas mileage, the real life
numbers are usually lower. If you
print in low quality, the number of
prints you get will be close to the
yield. However, if you print photographs, those numbers will drop quickly.

I looked up my printer and the part
number O-ink says is different than
my printer says it takes.
With
some printers, there is more than one
possible cartridge that will work in
them. We here at O-ink believe in getting
the most bang for your buck, so we only recommend
the highest capacity for that printer.
Example: Take the Lexmark 16 and the
Lexmark 17. Both cartridges will work
in a Lexmark X75 Printrio, however,
the 17 is only half full. Therefore,
costs you more money, that is why we
only recommend the Lexmark 16. If you
have a question, please call us or email
us.

5.
What is the cost per page?
Cost
per page is how much it cost you to
print off one page at 5% coverage.
Most inkjet printers are around 4-12
cents per page and laser printers
are 1-3 cents for black and for color
inkjets are 6-25 cents and lasers
are 7-15 cents. To figure out your
cost per page take the yield of your
cartridge divided by the cost. Top
6.
Is the Responsible brand or Generic cartridges just as good
as an OEM cartridge?
The
Responsible brand is guaranteed to
be just as good. Responsible is so
good, they will replace your cartridge,
if your not happy, with the OEM equivilent.
For more information, please click
this
link. Our generic cartridges are guaranteed to be just as good as the original cartridges. If you have any problems, give us a call at 1-800-989-6465 and we will help you solve the problem. Top
7.
I can't find my cartridge, does this
mean O-ink can't get it?
It
means two things: 1. The cartridge
has not been added or there is an
error in our database, which you should
email
us. 2. We have found a better
value than your cartridge, make sure
to look
up your printer to see if there is another cartridge recommended.
There is some instances that O-ink can not get replacement cartridges.

What is a drum unit, transfer unit/kit,
etc for?
Certain
laser and inkjet printers have additional
parts that need to be replaced over
time to keep the printer printing in top notch condition. This includes drum units, printheads,
fusers, transfer units and so forth.
If you are unsure if you should replace
any of these or if your printer has
any of these email
us.

I am having trouble finding my cartridge
O-ink
strives to make our search tool the
easiest around. However, there is
an area that still confuses people
the most, and that is the Printer
Family. The Printer Family consist
of the start of model number for the
printer. Example: Most Lexmark Printers
start with either P, X, or Z, and
HP printers start with Deskjet, Photosmart,
or PSC. We have grouped those those
and similar printers together. If
you are having problems, first look
at your printer, does it have a letter
or name before the numbers? If so,
see if we have a special group like
that, if not, please email
us and we will help you.

Does O-ink sell printers?
YES - O-ink

What printer does O-ink recommend
I purchase?
O-ink
can not just recommend one printer
for everyone. That would be like recommending
one car for everyone to drive. We
all have different needs, some people
need trucks, others need sports cars.
Printers are the same.
So
here are some quick facts. Printers
that take individual cartridges, like
most Canon, Epson, or the new HP Photosmart
printers, are more economical on ink.
Laser printers cost more to purchase
up front, but usually have a lower
cost per page (cost of the cartridge
divided by the number of pages the
manufacture says you get). All-in-ones
are a better for smaller spaces, but
if a part breaks, they are a lot harder
to fix.
If
you are in the market for a new printer,
and want to find out what we think,
email
us and we will help you find what
printer is best for you.

15. What can O-ink do for my business?
We save you money. That sounds like every other company, so here is what sets us apart. We look out for your bottom line, while still giving you high quality products. If we don't like the product, or if we don't believe it performs up to our quality we will not sell it. We do not sell you what you do not need. We also make sure to know our products and our business.
Our stock service will save you time and hassle. If that printer breaks you have to go through the hassle of returning it. We eliminate that hassle.
We also get to know you. Knowing our customers means knowing their needs. That is what we strive for. Top
16. Does O-ink Refill cartridges?
O-ink Does Not refill cartridges. Rather than have you send in your cartridges and wait for them to be filled, or stop in at the store to refill them, we value your time. The cartridges that are refilled are tested in printers that use those cartridges to insure that they work. All the cartridges are only filled one time, again to insure the best quality. Time is money and we value your time, why wait if you don't have to? Top
